Mandalay Bay Pool

Summer is here, that means it is time to hit the beach at Mandalay Bay Las Vegas. Lounge in a comfortable chair, have a drink and rub in the SPF 50 and your day is set. The high summer temperatures get you to cool off in the refreshing water and the action at the Mandalay Bay pool keeps you busy checking out the scene. Head to the Palazzo to See the Jersey Boys

Jersey Boys

The Jersey Boys in Las Vegas is a tough ticket to get but the show is consistently ranked among the best. A good story, a talented cast and the familiar sounds of a generation that set the tone for entertainment for plenty of years since. If you seek a real Broadway show Jersey Boys at the Palazzo Resort in Las Vegas should do it for you.

Entertainment at the Palazzo Resort Las Vegas is fueled by the ever popular, Broadway hit, Jersey Boys, as well the shows at its sister property, The Venetian, The Blue Man Group and Phantom, The Las Vegas Spectacular.

Three shows in one place means you'll never leave the hotel especially since food options at the Venetian and the Palazzo are so extraordinary. Add in the Canyon Ranch Spa, a little drinking and dancing at TAO and LAVO and you are set for a Las Vegas Vacation.

The Art of Shaving at Mandalay Place

art of shaving small.jpg

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I despise shaving. The truth is I am not a fan of haircuts either, so it would make sense that I would look to a professional to do it right however at The Art of Shaving at Mandalay Place I am transformed. I'm an average guy, who just happens to not enjoy the simple things like personal grooming. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with a shower and a quick brush through the hair, but if you try to get some kind of "product" in my hair I'm going to protest.

Sue Russel, Master Barber at the Art of Shaving, is an artist. I leave there and I can't believe how good I look. I stop in for a quick drink at Minus 5 and the women are checking me out and ask if I want to take a picture with them. I walk over to the sports book and the guys are taking an extra glance my way.

Treat yourself to the best shave of your life with a simple four step process. Prepare, lather up, shave and moisturize. When they are done with you, you will not believe how good your skin can feel.

Learn Something at Tacos and Tequila at Luxor Las Vegas

Tequila

Line them up.

Inspect each of the glasses.

Grab a few tortillas, a glass of water and relax.

Can you do that? Can you sit in front of a few shot glasses of premium tequila without succumbing to the urge to shoot'em? Sure you can, eliminate the lemon and salt and only consider the sangrita to help you move from one tequila to another. Take your time, check out the color, allow yourself to enjoy the aroma and then gently taste the tequila, let it sit in your mouth, a quick swish around and then swallow. Have some water, maybe a little warm tortilla and then move on to the next.

Considering that Tacos and Tequila at Luxor Las Vegas has more than 90 different Tequilas on hand you might be here for awhile but you'll have to attempt the entire inventory over the course of time. However, they do have flights of tequila already selected for you in order to help with your education. Here's the idea, you should learn something new every day, why not learn a little more about the precious Blue Agave and the fabulous juice that can be produced from it. Why not enjoy the hard work of a few Jimadores who harvested this gem down south all for you?

Might I suggest an Alambre Taco, a shrimp taco and a Baja taco to go along with your tequila? Since you are already at Tacos and Tequila you might as well have a Casarita, made with 100% Agave Tequila and served on the rocks.

If you are a fan of the Sunday Brunch, Tacos and Tequila has the Mariachi Brunch and they offer 2 for 1 Casaritas and a decent Machaca Burrito. No better way to start a Sunday morning than with a little tequila, right?

It’s Time To Experience An Adult Pool in Las Vegas

TAO Beach

Grab some SPF 30, a good magazine, sunglasses, and a little attitude because the lounge scen is moving outside and the pools of Las Vegas are so very hot! The Adult Pool in Las Vegas is where the action is at once the temperature goes up. DJ, dancing, drinks, and a never ending procession of pretty people lounging on day beds and carving out a scene in cabanas and chaise lounges. Understand, this is not the deep end of the Frontier pool where you worked on your cannonballs. This is Las Vegas excitement at the pool.

These are a few pools in Las Vegas where it's time to discover "Daylife" the alternative to what to do when the sun is out in Las Vegas:

  • TAO Beach at the Venetian - A 30 foot bar and food from TAO Asian Bistro, need I say more? Don't forget the TAO-jitos as you lounge on a comfy daybed.
  • Liquid at Aria Las Vegas - It's new, it's shiny and the glare off the buildings will make you look great. You get the large main pool and two private dipping pools as well as the LIQUID-Rita and a decent menu. Did I mention the music, I should, but you'll know what I'm talking about when you sprawl out in a cabana with the 40" flat screens.
  • Wet Republic at MGM Grand - I'm not sure I am ever ready for the full day party at Wet Republic but I end up staying out way too long and then needing a nap before I get going again. You get a choice between VIP Bungalows, cabanas or the main pool where the action is beyond belief.
  • Check out a few more Adult Pools in Las Vegas

There are plenty of pools in Las Vegas so don't freak out if all you want to do is sit around and slurp up your Mojito while reading a good book. Pools in Las Vegas range from fun for the family to topless, to nightclubs with water.

Get out there, you are ready for some fun in the Las Vegas sun!
