skyjumpsmall Go Ahead, Jump Already at SkyJump Las Vegas

Go for it! Do it! Jump! That is all you need to hear and you’ll be ready for the plunge from 829 feet above the Las Vegas strip. SkyJump Las Vegas is ready for you to test your heart, your will and your ability to go right to the edge and the step off.

For $99 you can feel like an extreme base jumper and leap off the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas. You ‘ll be slowed down by a harness and some cables, you’ll get a souvenir photo and then you’ll tell every one at the bar about how you would have done it without the cables if they allowed it.

Go ahead, jump, already!

Chef Shawn McClain is Brilliant at Sage at Aria Resort Resort and Casino

sagearia Chef Shawn McClain is Brilliant at Sage at Aria Resort Resort and Casino

Step into Sage at Aria Resort in Las Vegas and you get the feeling that “cool” has been captured and turned into a dining space. You are sure that Frank, Dean, Sammy and Joey would have loved this place. Don’t get me wrong there is very little here that screams old Vegas, instead it’s more about the atmosphere, the idea that it is okay to grow up and go out to a classy place that serves good food.

New American Cuisine is what Shawn McClain is serving up at Sage and I’ll tell you that it is one of those places that is rising to top of my list of must do restaurants in Las Vegas. The drinks are great and the atmosphere make me want to stay longer but the real impressive variable is the staff. Ask someone to give you their opinion of the food and they all share a passion for the dishes they are delivering. When the food arrives you are practically set into a pleasure induced coma.

The menu is seasonal but if you see the scallops that are place upon the oxtail on the menu that is what you are ordering. Start with some Vancouver Island Oysters and have your sever surprise you with a good drink and your Las Vega vacation will have reached its peak.

Do you love to eat? Aria at CityCenter has so many restaurants and places to indulge you’ll be forced to extend your vacation. Treat yourself to a few of the restaurants at Aria Resort and put off the quest to lose those 5 pounds until you get back from vacation.

Check Out The New Rooms at The Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas.

tropicanaroom3 Check Out The New Rooms at The Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas.

Take a look at the improvements they have made at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas. The rooms look great, the pool is getting a lot of attention and the over all feel is a bit South Beach. I just had a meal at Bacio Pasta and Vino and I was pleasantly surprised. Brad Garret has a comedy show here and the future brings Nikki Beach. Consider the average room price is way less than other similar strip properties and you might be hitting Las Vegas sooner than you think.

Face Down Doing the Cabo Wabo at Cabo Wabo Cantina Las Vegas

cabowabo6 Face Down Doing the Cabo Wabo at Cabo Wabo Cantina Las Vegas
I have a tendency to enjoy a drink or two. I won’t lie, the Las Vegas strip is the perfect place for a guy like me. Food, drinks and music, really how much more do we need to be happy? Well, at Cabo Wabo Cantina at the Planet Hollywood you’ll get that and a bit more. Sit out on the deck and indulge in exactly what you need while in Las Vegas. As Las Vegas walks by and the skyline transforms itself right before your eyes have a Waborita sing out loud to music that you forgot you knew the words to and get a little of that Cabo Wabo feeling.

Here is the deal, this isn’t the the bar in Cabo San Lucas that you might have stopped in. That’s a good thing because if you have ever left that place as they close up shop there were few alternatives after the night ended. In Las Vegas the action goes late into the evening and your options for debauchery are limitless.

So order a Waborita, yes, you need the salt on the rim, that is the bell that tells you the party is about to begin. Grab the appetizer sampler, this way you can take your time snacking as you indulge in a few adult beverages to help you ease in to the Cabo Wabo mindset. If you want that Mexico feeling you might have to go with the Fish tacos but I think the rock shrimp tacos do a better job of transporting you to a marina bar in Cabo. You ready for some Tequila?

Get ready.

Scream it loud, “Mas Tequila!”. Don’t worry you’re in Las Vegas, they won’t throw you out. They’ll get you some tequila.
